Quality & Compliance Coach

The purpose of this role is to monitor and evaluate verbal communication with new and existing customers across all channels of the business. Ensuring the delivery of a consistent and appropriate sales and service approach and confirming all standards and procedures are adhered to. The Quality & Compliance Coach will review the application of policies/procedures and the effectiveness of communication with customers in line with delivering our company sales and service standards.


• Monitoring the quality of work and making recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare reports to communicate the outcome of quality monitoring activity.
• Identify training and development opportunities including preventative and corrective actions.
• Complying with all company policies and procedures.
• Verification Calls, communicating customers, verifying and finalising contracts.
• Completing reports evaluating agent performance, quality scoring against performance best practice and in line with the quality and compliance process.
• Conducting telephone call observations to monitor adherence against performance objectives and delivery of the company sales approach standards.
• Provide regular feedback to the Sales Team Managers, Snr Managers in order to instigate coaching and development across all channels of the business.
• Contributing to the delivery of service level agreements and assessing telephone calls and cases against key performance indicators across all channels of the business.

Essential Skills

Telesales Executive

You'll report to one of our Team Managers and will work 9am until 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, be prepared to work those extra hours to get the big deals over the line.

As a Sales Agent, it will be your responsibility to generate your own prospect pipeline, achieve sales target and performance KPI's. You will be helped by pre-selected data, custom-designed customer relationship management software, our training and monitoring programmes and advice and help from colleagues. You will receive training and coaching support in your initial 6 weeks. You must have a mature approach to work, have a professional phone manner and be comfortable selling and interacting with clients over the telephone.

Key responsibilities

To achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales and prospect targets.
To achieve the target conversion rates set.
To achieve performance KPIs.
Basic Mathematics and English language ability.
IT literate, with the ability to accurately complete all customer details & sales information to the required standard.
To adhere to the sales compliance rules at all times - all sales are generated in line with our quality standards.

The person

Telesales experience an advantage- we would welcome candidates from all sales backgrounds.
Knowledge of the energy sector is useful but not essential because we offer a fantastic comprehensive training programme.
Experience in consultative selling would also be an advantage but is not essential.
Have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally to all customers, able to build rapport and close the deal.
The ability to work as part of a team supporting colleagues where necessary.
A positive desire to succeed, with the ability to be self-motivated and focused on continually achieving and exceeding targets.

The position is not for the faint hearted and a proven track record, combined with a desire to succeed and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the customer on board would be advantageous. Adopting a 'can do' attitude and being pro-active rather than reactive are definitely positive traits we look for as an employer.
