Earn a basic of £45,000 including a car allowance, 25 days holiday, company phone and laptop. Commission paid on own closed deals

Role

The Corporate Operations Manager (CSM) provides a variety of management and professional support across the organization with an emphasis on planning, performance management, operational efficiency and effectiveness and organizational development. This role coordinates and leads on a number of activities that are directly under the responsibility of the Sales Director as well as serves as an internal consultant and change agent within the organisation to support and/or lead a variety of initiatives aimed at increasing organizational effectiveness. The CSM is able to exercise considerable independent judgment, employ exceptional analytical skills, and communicate clearly and effectively. The ideal candidate is well organized, a problem solver, can multi-task with ease and is results driven. They are able to liaise effectively across the organization, communicating easily with staff in the full spectrum of technical roles and at all organizational levels

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and motivate a team, delivering clear direction and guidance to Business Sales Advisors to maximise performance and achieve team targets
  • Acts as a point of escalation for issues arising from Sales Advisors to improve communication between us and our Clients. Feedback in a timely manner to all parties
  • To prospect and follow up as required by Senior Manager and Sales Director
  • Review all corporate clients every month and keep our Senior Manager and Sales Director
  • Analyses team performance data to evaluate team and individual performance and acts upon findings making recommendation to improve performance
  • Implement sales and marketing plans that ensure the delivery targets and achieve KPI’s for sales campaigns
  • Responsible for performance management, absence reviews and, where necessary, initiate the disciplinary processes
  • Ensures all company policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to by the team
  • Coordinate the activities of a sales team in order to build a healthy and profitable relation with buyers and other associates
  • Champions Commercial Power values and behaviours ensuring that the team displays Commercial Power values in every aspect of their role
  • Liaise with managers to identify and analyse areas of revenue generation opportunities for products and/or services in support of business goals and to monitor the sales agents overall effectiveness throughout the sales process
  • Consult, train, mentor, and coach local managers and associates in areas that include revenue generation performance issues and overall sales effectiveness
  • Execute local sales training programs and keep updated on new training methods and techniques
  • Assess and analyse business needs with recommendations on training plans and programs to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Develop and maintain training materials related to sales initiatives including presentations, job aids, participant handouts, virtual class materials, and other resources
  • Design and deliver induction training / refresher training for employees
  • Work cross-functionally between various departments to help measure, analyse and enhance the performance of revenue generation activities connected with counter sales effectiveness
  • Identify and analyse areas of revenue generation opportunities for products and/or services in support of business goals and monitor locations overall effectiveness throughout the sales process
  • Analyse location’s performance and understanding of goal setting
  • Complete Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) with employees and Performance reviews in a timely manner

 

Qualifications and Education

  • Secondary School education or above focusing on numeracy and literacy

We are looking for a B2B Key Account Manager join a global energy consultancy in their expanding client/broker management team. You will be bright and dynamic with 2+ years’ experience within the Energy Sector and in the Third-Party Intermediary / TPI space. You will manage the client relationship and service delivery for our portfolio of brokers, as well as upselling add on services, and gaining new brokers. If you have managed relationships within the energy sector, for both SME and corporate customers, apply today for the Key Account Manager’s role. Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Offering full-service support to high profile, Industrial & Commercial Brokers (Clients)
  • Client liaison, feeding back solutions to meet their energy and sustainability management needs
  • Attending regular business meetings, focus on upselling services to client base, client retention
  • Ensuring smooth, efficient and on-time service delivery
  • Handling and processing contract renewals
  • Presenting additional value-added opportunities to clients
  • Reviewing energy and sustainability strategies for the coming year
  • Informing clients about their options regarding energy usage and sustainability

 

  • Build relationships with new TPI’s.
  • Apply strong knowledge of the company’s products, services, and pricing.
  • Work with all departments to refine product propositions, and refine processes
  • Agree and strive to achieve individual targets
  • Help generate proposals and quotes in line with company policy and CRM.

 

Experience Required:

  • Track record in the energy sector in a client facing role, and passionate about providing great client service
  • Understanding of the energy/ utility industry market
  • Experience in liaising/ building relationship with TPIs/ brokers in the energy industry
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Keep up to date with advances in business area, new methods, and ways of working.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Articulate, professional and clear verbal communication skills.
  • Precise and appropriate written communication skills.
  • A commercial/business orientated mind-set is ideal
  • Experience of risk managed flexible procurement, non-commodity charges, bureau services
  • Friendly, logical and accommodating, enthusiastic and persuasive
