Due to a period of rapid growth, we currently have exciting opportunities for Territory Sales Managers across the UK to work within our newly formed sales division.

With a headcount of 950+ within the group and brand-new state of the art Manchester head offices, we are looking for experienced, driven, and hungry Territory Sales Manages to lead from the front and drive KPI’s.

As part of the Sales Management team, the Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for developing sales strategy for the wider BDM team and the identification of commercial opportunities. Managing a team of field-based Business Development Managers to deliver and develop excellence (resulting in profitable sales) is the key focus of this role.

Working within a specific geographical area, your team will also be provided with an unlimited number of warm business leads from across the group of established companies; Commercial Power, BES and Card Saver.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Territory Sales Manager is responsible for leading, motivating and developing a team of field-based BDMs with a view to retaining and generating sales and service revenue in a sales region. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to make a significant impact on the growth of a region throughout the UK.

Territory Sales Manager Key responsibilities:

  • Develop a region by empowering a team of external Business Development Managers to originate and effectively deliver sales campaigns
  • Set and monitor progress on objectives and personal development plans for the team
  • Empower your team to originate and effectively deliver sales campaigns
  • Introduce opportunities from outside of the current customer base
  • Deliver regular performance reviews, sales training, coaching and 121s
  • Develop key adviser accounts in your region, with an expectation of having strong, productive relationships with the decision makers at the largest regional firms
  • Able to use and interpret data to identify opportunities and deploy resources most effectively
  • Establish a sales culture within the BDM team that delivers peak performance while maintaining a collaborative team environment and delivering outstanding customer service.

Skills and experience required:

  • From an energy and/or merchant services background, selling into various companies would be desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
  • A proven track record in sales development combined with strong sales team management skills
  • Proven ability to deliver sales results as a team manager
  • Successful experience in building and developing a sales team
  • Must be able to form and execute a plan for identifying, hiring, training and developing BDMs into a world-class sales force
  • Ability to devise acquisition strategies through effective and documented account planning
  • Will be comfortable operating in an environment of constant change
  • Numerate and accurate with ability to solve detailed problems and use own initiative
  • Full UK driving license (Company car will be provided)

With a headcount of 950+ within the group and brand-new state of the art Manchester head offices, we are looking for experienced, driven, and hungry Business Solutions Managers to nurture our clients and grow a sales pipeline of new business through effective prospecting and client visits.

You will be responsible for proactively creating new client leads in our target markets, engaging with customers to understand their needs and helping them to reduce their business utility, merchant service costs, and water.

Working within a specific geographical area, you will also be provided with an unlimited number of warm business leads from across the group of established companies; Commercial Power, BES and Card Saver.

Business Solutions Manager Key responsibilities:

  • Achieve new business power, gas, water and merchant services sales from the market place using own contact base and warm data provided
  • New business sales process from initial prospecting through to contract negotiation
  • Devise acquisition strategies through effective and visible account planning
  • Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities and ensure sales activity records are reported and maintained
  • Ensure contractual paperwork for contracts within the portfolio is up to date
  • Attend and present to a monthly sales review
  • Ability to thrive in a results driven environment, operating with integrity and transparency

 

Business Solutions Manager Skills and experience required:

  • Experience within a Business Solutions Manager role from an energy / merchant services background, selling to various companies is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Ability to devise acquisition strategies through effective and documented account planning
  • Able to evidence pipeline development and growth strategies to ensure forward opportunity
  • Strong achievement drive, self-motivation and relationship management capability
  • Have a consultative approach to clients
  • Analytical thinking with strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to influence key decision makers
  • Proven high level of pure new business delivery
  • Numerate and accurate with ability to solve detailed problems and use own initiative
  • Full UK driving license

With a headcount of 950+ within the group and brand-new state of the art Manchester head offices, we are looking for experienced, driven, and hungry Sales Support personnel.

As part of the Sales Operations team, the Sales Support Officer will be responsible with aiding our Territory Sales Manager and Business Solution Managers with back office support and general sales related admin tasks. A large proportion of the role will be dealing with inbound inquires, scheduling meetings & maintaining sales records.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in a sales environment and have a close eye for detail. You’ll also be able to prioritise specific tasks and be able to apply strong sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • First point of contact for all phone enquiries
  • Coordinate sales meetings and appointments for Business Solutions Managers
  • Research and generate a prospects database
  • Out reach work to prospects and setting up initial pitch meeting for BSM
  • Maintain sales proposals and sales order processing
  • Maintain sales pipeline visibility and invoice forecast

The role of a Training Manager is to effectively train and develop our new and existing sales, admin teams. To design all content within learning and development via our eLearning platform. To ensure all training is in line with industry

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design and develop learning strategies that will have a positive impact on the achievement of all teams.
  • Engage with senior management team to design a training schedule to complement business objectives, and growth projections.
  • Delivery and maintenance of training programs for all departments and induction courses.
  • Drive forward training objectives by scheduling, coaching and managing the performance of employees.
  • Attend sales pipeline meetings, one-on-ones with Chief Performance Officer. Follow up on items from these meetings to enhance performance.
  • Create, deliver and manage new product and system training sessions.
  • Achieve training objectives by completing strategic plans and reviews.
  • Identifying trends and determine sales training system improvements and implement change.
  • Develop, conduct and coach managerial training programmes.
