How do I know if I’m still in contract?

Contact your supplier and they will be able to advise you straight away as to whether you are still in contract with them. If you’re not in contract or your renewal is imminent then Commercial Power can immediately source you a better deal. If you are in contract then you should ask for your relevant renewal date and inform Commercial Power of this information immediately. Commercial Power will then liaise with your current supplier and diaries to secure your best available deal at the time of your existing contract renewal. Commercial Power will ensure that you are not rolled over into a new contract with your existing supplier and will ensure that you avoid the resulting high charges that would have followed.

How do I know who currently supplies my business energy?

All you need to do is check your most recent gas or electricity invoices or speak to the previous occupier. Should you require any assistance with discovering this then do not hesitate to contact Commercial Power on 0800 195 3647.

Can I change my business energy supplier during my contract?

Unfortunately you are unable to move suppliers until the end of your contract. At this point you are free to switch suppliers as long as you have met the contracts terms and conditions regarding terminating supplies.

How do I terminate my existing contract?

Simply write to your existing supplier advising of your wish to terminate your contract with them. Alternatively provide Commercial Power with your relevant renewal details and we will contact your existing supplier on your behalf. You can then focus on running your business whilst we take care of everything for you.

How long does it take to switch energy suppliers?

Switching energy suppliers can vary but it normally takes 28 days from the contract being accepted to the contract being registered with your new supplier.

How much does it cost for the Commercial Power service?
